African Economic Intelligence Conference - 5th edition - December 15, 2020 - Digital edition

Dr. Eric ADJA, President of the Francophone Agency for Artificial Intelligence will speak on 15 December 2020, at 10:45 am, at the round table entitled "African Economic Sovereignty at the time of COVID 19". More information on : www.assises-africaines-ie.org

After two first editions in Casablanca, Morocco in June 2016 and December 2017, and two editions in Sub-Saharan Africa in Dakar (Senegal) in 2018 and Abidjan in 2019, the African Economic Intelligence Conference has established itself as the must-attend event for the EI community in Africa.

Thus each edition was an opportunity to share the different national experiences and initiatives in EI, to give feedback, to compare points of view and to make recommendations on best-practices. A state of the art of economic intelligence in Africa has been gradually built up over the years and editions.

The organizers of the Audience have compiled these observations in a reference book on economic intelligence in Africa. This will include the history of the evolution of the discipline in the various African countries, the main institutions that practice economic intelligence locally, training, key persons, as well as local feedback on EI. This book will be published and presented at the next edition of the Assises.

To take into account the current health situation and the constraints it imposes, the 5th edition of the African Economic Intelligence Conference will take place over one day and will be fully online.

In the light of the current events of the COVID crisis, several axes will be privileged to tackle economic intelligence during this fifth edition: African economic sovereignty and innovation.
